Before he got role in “The Godfather”, Robert was not a star. He lived in New York, and he tried twice with two private schools, but he still never graduated. On his 17. birthday in 1960, Robert decided to drop out of high school to study acting.
2. Cameron Diaz
When she was young, she was convinced she will became a model. That is why she left school at age of 17 and for the next 5 years lived in such varied locales as Japan, Australia, Mexico, Morocco, and Paris. Returning to California at the age of 21, she was working as a model when her agency secured her an audition for the female lead in The Mask (1994) opposite rising comedian Jim Carrey. Despite having no previous acting experience, she got the role and was launched into stardom virtually overnight as the film became one of 1994’s biggest hits.
3. Johnny Depp
Depp left high school around 15, then tried to return a few weeks later only to be told to “run with” his dream of being a musician by his school’s dean. However, it was when he married Lori Anne Allison that he took up the job of being a ballpoint-pen salesman to support himself and his wife. A visit to Los Angeles, California, with his wife, however, happened to be a blessing in disguise, when he met up with actor Nicolas Cage, who advised him to turn to acting, which culminated in Depp’s film debut in the low-budget horror film, A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), where he played a teenager who falls prey to dream-stalking demon Freddy Krueger
