ASUU Update: Strike Continues As Lecturers Reportedly Walk Out Of Meeting

The leaders of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) have reportedly walked out of their meeting with the representatives of the Federal Government.

The government resumed talks with the lecturers yesterday, December 17, 2018, in order to end the ongoing strike.

However, the meeting involving the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige and other government representatives as well as ASUU members was not successful as lecturers reportedly staged a walkout from the meeting.
