Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah had to be stretched off the pitch after an head injury in the match against Newcastle on Saturday evening.
With the match at 2-2, the Egyptian went down in a heap in the penalty area after colliding with Newcastle goalkeeper, Martin Dubravka.
The accident appeared to knock out the Liverpool star, who lay on the ground with his eyes closed while concerned Newcastle players checked on him.
Liverpool’s medical staffs took no chances, opting to take Salah straight off and replace him with Divock Origi.
The incident occurred when a long ball came into the box, and Salah looked to get on the end of it.
However, caught between Fabian Schaarand Dubravka, the Egyptian’s head collided with the Newcastle Goalkeepers hip as he came out to punch the ball clear.
Salah went down, already appearing to be unconscious and his head hit the floor in violent fashion, the referee immediately stopping the game due to the head injury.
